Jetex, a leading provider of global private aviation services, has announced a strategic partnership with Joby Aviation to advance regional air mobility across the Middle East. This collaboration is set to redefine the future of urban air transport by integrating Joby’s electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft into Jetex’s extensive network of private aviation terminals.

As part of this initiative, Jetex will install Joby’s Global Electric Aviation Charging System at its flagship terminals, establishing a foundation for efficient and sustainable eVTOL operations. This infrastructure will support the seamless connection of urban centers, reducing travel time between key locations across the region.

Joby Aviation, a pioneer in eVTOL technology, has been at the forefront of developing all-electric air taxis designed to provide fast, quiet, and zero-emission urban transport. The partnership with Jetex will facilitate the integration of these aircraft into established private aviation networks, catering to high-net-worth individuals and business travelers looking for rapid, sustainable mobility solutions.
The Middle East is emerging as a key market for advanced air mobility (AAM), with governments and private enterprises investing in next-generation aviation technologies. The Jetex-Joby partnership aligns with regional sustainability goals by promoting electric aviation as a viable alternative to conventional short-haul flights.
Adel Mardini, Founder & CEO of Jetex, emphasized the importance of innovation in private aviation, stating, “This partnership with Joby Aviation represents a significant step toward transforming air travel in the region. By integrating eVTOL technology into our network, we are providing our customers with a seamless, efficient, and environmentally friendly mode of transport.”

Joby’s eVTOL aircraft, capable of speeds up to 200 mph and a range of 150 miles on a single charge, is expected to significantly enhance mobility options within and between major metropolitan areas. The collaboration also signals a shift towards electric aviation becoming a mainstream option for urban travelers, further establishing the Middle East as a hub for pioneering aviation advancements.
With infrastructure development already underway, Jetex and Joby plan to launch initial eVTOL services within the next few years, setting a new standard for sustainable and convenient private air travel in the region.
