In a groundbreaking achievement for the aviation industry, Reliable Robotics, a California-based company specializing in aircraft automation systems, successfully completed the first-ever autonomous pilot-free flight of a Cessna 208B Caravan with no pilot on board. The historic flight took place just outside San Jose on November 21, marking a significant milestone in the realm of aviation technology.
Supervised remotely from Reliable's control center located 50 miles away, the pilot-less aircraft showcased the company's dedication to advancing safety-enhancing technologies in aviation.
