Ferrari's Unique SP-8: An Exhilarating Open-Top Masterpiece

Ferrari has unveiled a spectacular one-of-a-kind creation, the Ferrari SP-8. Born from the F8 Spider, this bespoke supercar stands out with its defining feature – it's roofless, offering an unmatched open-top driving experience.

Crafting a True Roadster

The SP-8 inherits the F8 Spider's mid-rear engine layout, chassis, and powerplant. But the absence of a roof sets it apart, transforming it into a pure two-seater roadster, delivering the open-air thrill.

Exquisite Design and Precision

This exceptional Ferrari boasts a dual-tone design. Unpainted carbon fiber adorns the tail, creating a captivating contrast in both color and material. The matte Argento Micalizzato paint, created specifically for this one-off, graces the body, with iridescent Blue Sandstone carbon fiber elements adding a touch of elegance.

Attention to Detail

The roofless design allowed designers to reconfigure the entire rear section, creating a striking look with side air intakes and an integrated central area in matte black. The front features a 3D-printed grille for enhanced airflow. Ferrari's Styling Center and aerodynamics team spent months perfecting the design.

Personalized Interior

Inside, the SP-8 caters to the customer's wishes with F1 gearbox commands in the center console. Navy Blue Alcantara and iridescent-effect twill fabric for the carpets add to the car's unique style and comfort.

Performance and Power

While specific figures are undisclosed, the SP-8 likely boasts around 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque from its 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8, managed by a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

A Touch of Luck from Taiwan

The customer from Taiwan chose the lucky number 8, a symbol of success and good fortune in Chinese culture.

The Ferrari SP-8 is currently on display at the Mugello Circuit for the Ferrari Finali Mondiali event. It will later be showcased at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.
